Once in a while just: stop

I know life is a rush, I know sometimes (maybe always) you struggle to find time to just play games.

But you have to stop sometimes.

People play games in a rush.

They usually know what to expect, myself included, and we tend to not properly enjoy some experiences. Thats why I often make myself play a walk simulator, or something more story focused, in order to just… breathe a bit, and really put myself inside of another characters body and try to feel what they are feeling.

I noticed most people missed the whole game because they though it was just a game boy color simulator inside a car, but it’s not. And thats why I’m posting this as a “Game Design” post, to talk about what I think is going on, and I think the cause for that is what I previously discussed. We need to slow down, I think, just look outside and enjoy the view for a bit.

Try to play it again as if you were the character, and this time, I updated the game with some visual cues to make it easier for anyone to follow what my character might be feeling.
